Ginka makes a comeback in this episode, the Hamster gets more screen time to herself, and Hayate pwns a couple in a convertible. Nice episode this one.
Continuing on from the last episode, after getting away from the hit men who’re after Nagi’s life, Ayumu asks Nagi knowing that she has a mother, after talking about how she got her Mountain Bike, remembering her deceased mother, Nagi asks Ayumu to drop her off where they were and go on without her, with Ayumu stubbornly leaving her behind.
Elsewhere, while looking for Nagi and Ayumu, Hayate finds a mobile phone on the ground. When opened, judging from the photo sticker and Maria’s phone number onscreen, Hayate realises it was Ayumu’s, just as he was about to, he suddenly gets attacked by Ginka, (Isumi’s great grandmother) and intends to take him to the Shimoda Hot springs, where Isumi was, coincidentally, Hayate was heading there as well. Meanwhile, as Nagi is sitting on the wall, separating the road and the sea beside it, Ayumu comes back and gives her a drink, telling her that after she’s done drinking, they’re leaving. But just after Nagi was done, Ayumu’s can gets shot by a gun, as the hit men returns, and so the chase continues, until Hayate and Ginka arrive to rescue them.
Arriving at Atami station, where everyone finally meets up, after a slight argument between Ayumi and Nagi, its been decided that Hayate will take Ayumu to Izu by bike and Hina will take Nagi and Maria to Izu by train. After Hayate beating a couple in a convertible in a race, they all arrive at the Izu Peninsula. With everybody relaxing in the hotel (or mansion) they’re staying at, after dreaming about an old memory when Nagi’s mother was still alive, Nagi and Sakuya (who happens to went there as well) decides to go into the hot springs to relax and see if the rumors with miracles happening is true. only to have Nagi drunk due to the mixed hot springs and being seen naked by Hayate.
Back at the mansion/hotel, Nagi becomes angry since not only she was seen naked but Hayate not reacting to anything when he witnessed. Gong back to the hots pings business, Nagi doesn’t feel anything changed within her body, and asks Hayate and Maria about the meteorite in the hot springs, with Maria hearing that the meteorite was gone when it crashed landed to the site. Making Nagi convinced that it was a UFO. Later into the night, Nagi looks up into the night sky, wishing to her mother that she wants to meet an alien, which can solve her growth problem. Suddenly, something unidentified crashes down into her mansion, which later then turns out to be an alien.
Well this sucks. They totally got rid of the Kotetsu comeback chapter (Chapter 117, where Kotetsu arrives at Shimoda to see Hayate once more, and was the one who recommended Nagi to ride the first-class train), I liked that chapter, where they all gather to play ping pong, so I’m very depressed about it. Nevertheless, the episode did covered 3 and a half chapters all in one go (Chapters 115/116/118/1st part 119), so I can see why they wiped out Kotetsu’s total existence in this arc (or maybe he’ll appear later). But this episode had very frequent fanservice shots here and there, so I’m at least satisfied with that. So moving on it looks like in the next episode we’ll be going into space when Nagi accidentally launches Maya’s UFO up into interstellar space, with slim chances of coming back alive.
Will Hayate succeed in rescuing her? Or will Nagi be lost in space forever? The Shimoda Hot Springs Arc will come to its climax in the next episode…
And now its time for the screen shots, I limited myself with the amount so that I don’t go overboard, like last time…

Will Hayate and Ayumu get defeated?

Of course not!

Which one do you prefer?

I now end my post.
