I have a life, I swear!

If you’re not aware btw I’ve been undercover 3 days straight. Revamping every posts (talking about over 200 posts), fixing grammar and spelling mistakes… Resizing every single images so it fills up the post area width (talking over 1000 images and screenshots here) and also fixing HTML coding since some posts doesn’t look right when I view it on various browsers.

Additionally, I have implemented, modified and replaced images in certain posts and reviews, meaning there is at least 1 image featured in every post now.

Let it Snow!

Just found out a while ago that you can now enable SNOOOOW falling off blogs of WordPress DOT COM!! After many minutes off sheerless lurking I have come to discover how to enable it, being just ticking the box enabling the falling snow feature in the Extras section in the Appearances category in the sidebar of the dashboard. +1 for WordPress.com I guess D:

This clever feature sadly ends on January 4th 2010 meaning it’s the perfect feature for my blog for the last week of 2009~

Update: Wow this is actually making scrolling a lot more unresponsive and laggy… grrr

Update 2: Feature now gone. Me is sad :<

Migrated to a New Name

niyasu-no-eden

Just as the title says, I have officially migrated to a new name for this blog. From “Nyarth’s Solid State of Mind” to “Niyasu no Eden”. Don’t say why. Or I’ll take away your cookies 8D So yeah, for those of you who actually reads my posts and added me to your blogroll or something, change the URL Title to “Niyasu no Eden”. The URL is still kept the same.

Dammit I have to update my pages…brb

Random Blog Status Report

Here’s a new segment in my blog where I’ll be posting from time to time some bland stats which has sparks an interest in me. Typically known as “Blog Updates #XX”.

First of, wow. Yesterday was liek, the busiest day ever since the first week in August. Yeah its only 432 views and that’s not a lot… But apparently it is to me as this blog is not really that big and loads of people read my posts. So yeah I win an achievement ^_^.

Obligatory End-of-the-Week Updates

Urgh… So many things happened after I came back from school, which is making my head hurt =_=

So here is a list of all things that I can currently remember what happened these past few hours;

1. Watched the 25th and final episode of Hayate on Keyhole (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO), then became confused in the 2nd part. Now awaiting SS Eclipse subs.
2. Realised that the 2nd part of the last episode of Hayate was a original plot and was about Hayate fetching some sort of Pocky snack for Nagi or something. Despite the fact that the snack is nearly sold out everywhere due to its popularity.
3. Lurked on the HnG Official Website, found many updates I haven’t come across these past few weeks of lurklessness. (Which I will make a post about later)
4. Internet laggy. Having a horrible time with it. Also learnt that at 6pm half of the world’s population is accessing the internet.
5. Personal Anime watchlist schedule messed up. Now just going down the list of unwatched episodes on MALu.
6. Personal problems now as I have a pile of Homework to do for the weekend and I have no idea where to start, or even know what it is and where it is.
7. My parents are concerned about my well being.
8. Hina in a Alice cosplay = Win

That’s all I can think of for now, and for certain there’s a lot more stuff I left out…

Well that’s all I have to say about now but…

Revamp Complete!

Ah. I worked over time. It’s now 3am. But nevertheless I’ve finally updated my blog! From updating all my endless posts of blabber to finding a crappy theme from WordPress.com’s crappy library of crappy themes that you can’t modify as much.

So here’s the list of significant changes I’ve made for these past 3 days;

  • Updated About page, go and visit to read my anti-tl;dr history and stuff…
  • Archives page created! But still in the works and experimental. Have fun.
  • Updated every post I’d made these past few months with updated grammar and image resizing (Which was a living hell, didn’t go through the ones in my Hayate posts since there’s a crap load (about 60 avg.) of screenshots I use for those posts…)
  • Images added to image-less posts, most of them, to be precise. But not this one.
  • Categories updated. Now with an Anime series category I’ll use for my posts.
  • Tags revamped. Now in more of a formal style with the classic capital letter in the front of every word. (Except for connecting words.)
  • Spam annihilated. Seems like spam comments had sneaked through the spam firewall. So I felt the need to eradicate them just in time. So long viagra and baby names advertising.

And many more which I’m not bothered to mention.

To Do List

I’ve finally gone through every post in my blog (That’s over 150 there D=), and all it took was 2 and a half days of resizing images, fixing grammar mistakes and spelling errors, and adding some relevant images to some of my image-less posts. (Lurk my blog to spot them !) >) Oh and also missing a whole precious day of marathoning Animu…

So here’s my To Do list with the promised deadline at the end of this week:

1. Updating each and every post.

2. Placing each and every post into a relevant Category/Tags

3. Completing About page.

4. Completing/Tweaking Archives page.

5. Completing all my buried drafts in my Posts list.

But since its already the dead of night (3:30am) where I am, as I am writing this post, its time for me to go to bed.

That is all for now.

Update: Almost done with the revamp, just a little bit more with tweaking with the Archives Page. Other than that its almost complete. Oh and I still have a mountain of drafts to complete…

I lol at what people are searching on my blog.

From unfinished search tags to some irrelevant furry findings when I have absolutely no furry material on my blog. (Excluding S&W that is…)

But above all it looks like Shana is the main search item for my blog, even though I can’t clearly remember what I posted, relating to Shana… But nevertheless, its still quiet a surprise for me…

The Introduction

After weeks and weeks of decision making, blood shedding, sweat inducing and lurking on the web for a new blog host… it has come to my conclusion to migrate from Blogger to WordPress!
