New Hayate no Gotoku!! OP/ED – KOTOKO Returns!

20090730_1323124

FOR SURE this time, after reading an entry in the official 2nd Season Hayate blog, the new OP/ED…

“daily-daily Dream!” by KOTOKO

“Karakoi ~Dakara Shoujo wa Koi wo Suru~” by Rie Kugimiya and Ryoko Shiraishi (respectively)

…should be appearing in tomorrow’s episode (Episode 18) if all goes well.

But no information on if the 2nd season will go on for 26 or my expectational 52 episodes…

hayate-maria-cd-s2

Continuing the line of Hayate no Gotoku S2’s Character CD Albums, the third and fourth albums, starring Maria and Hayate respectively came out a few days ago. Fortunately, I got my hands on a copy of each, and took the liberty of cleaning the scans (example on the above scan).

Following on from my previous new ED comparisons, the 14th episode of Pandora Hearts is greeted with a new ending (as shown above), oh and a new song, with the name and the artist yet to be confirmed. Marking the viewers that Pandora Hearts is at it’s half way point!

In my opinion the first ending was my favourite, as I clearly stated in my previous post, but this one is also as awesome as the last (Yeah, I’m bad at determine which good is good and which is bad =P)

New Shangri-la Ending Animation Sequence

sl-end-comparison

This weeks episode of the economical anime Shangri-la (Episode 13) has surprised me with its new animation sequence in the ED (See above image to see comparisons from the previous ending sequence, which I happened to found in HD :D), not only with its complex plot, in which this case seems to be Kuniko acting as the leader of Metal Age invading Atlas through the skies, which causes a massive dog-fight.

With the left column side is the previous animation sequence, and the right column to be the new sequence.

It hasn’t got a new song, but new animation. With this weeks is “Hajimari no Asa ni Hikari Are” by midori. But what confuses me with the ED is that there are two ending songs sung by midori but played in random episodes, but I guess it was just to go with the mood near the end. The second ending song by midori is “Tsuki ni Kakuse shi Chō no Yume”, which I guess is played when we see a sad/climatic cliffhanger.

If you compare the two sequences together, they kinda really match since the same characters remain, also with new ones thrown in the shot. And it also seems that they used the illustrations from the original Light Novel series for the new sequence, and used the original anime art for the first.

I still wonder how will this series’ ending will turn out…

New Hayate no Gotoku!! 2nd Season OP/ED Over the Horizon

new-op-ed

After lurking though the pages of the wretched site ANN, I’ve stumbled upon the Hayate Season 2 info page, and it came to my attention that under the Opening/Ending Theme, there seems to be a new opening and ending Theme soon. With the opening from the one and only KOTOKO, who sung both openings in the first season and seems to be returning to sing the 2nd opening theme, and the ending theme from Rie Kugumiya and Ryoko Shiraishi, the Seiyuus of Nagi and Hayate respectively, it looks like they’ve received the baton from Hina and the class president trio and are destined to take the main stage.

From my predictions, the 2nd ending theme will begin in next week’s episode, episode 14. Along with the new opening theme, which I’m guessing will begin around Episode 27, if the anime goes on for 52 or so episodes. Man I can’t wait :D

But to see if the information is genuine or not, I did some google search research on the Web, and it is believed to be true.

The opening and the ending themes are available for pre-order.

With the OP to be planned for release on August 26th, along with the ED to be out on September 9th.

Pandora Hearts 13

ph-13-01

Just a few hours, I’ve completed the 13th episode of the annoying cliffhangers after every episode anime Pandora Hearts, and came to realise at the end of the episode, while Gil is trapped in an alternate dimension of where Alice’s distorted memories lurk, Gil stumbles upon a highly attractive (fan girl speaking) hawt guy, who happens to look a lot like Oz, at first glance, and, happens to be the mystery man who frequently appearing in Alice’s memories…

Moments later, after Gil asking if he was Oz, it turns out later on that he’s actually Jack Bezarius. But who is this Jack? Captain Jack Sparrows? Jack from Jack and Jill? Jack-o-Lantern? (lawl) Since I haven’t yet read the original manga version, which is waaay ahead of the anime adaption, I can’t really say much about this matter.
