Hello everyone, long time no see.
So much for what I said in my last post, after I had wrote that and the posts after much has happened in RL that made me unavailable to blog.

I’ll just leave this here…(^o^)/
[>IMPLYING THAT K-ON! IS A GOOD ANIME!]

If you haven’t noticed already when you were getting your daily fix of Keion (c’mon despite you haters, you’re all probably gargling this series at night :3), you would’ve noticed a slipped in TV ad of KyoAni with it’s army of lolis and shota slaves with its array of elementary school working together making out the KyoAni flower logo out of, well, flowers and plants.

As the title of this post clearly speculates… Inb4 watching the actual first episode, I manages to snatch hold of the opening and ending sequences of K-ON!’s new second season (don’t ask me why).
And to say at least, they’re not bad at all.

Ahh the nostalgia… It’s been a while (9 months actually) since I’ve watched remotely a single episode of K-ON! after its first broadcast run. As for the cunningly announced second season to debut later this year (Spring most likely) a special specially packaged with the last DVD/BD volume of the first series sounds quite nice to carry on the moé-blob legacy. Call me a Keion-fag, but to be truthful I actually enjoyed watching the series and this special. Sure the marketing campaign and the craze for it is a little over-the-top and its a tad overrated… but I guess everyone has their own tastes…

Anime News Network – K-ON! Anime’s 2nd Season Officially Announced
The second season of the K-ON! anime franchise was announced after the “Let’s Go!” live concert in Yokohama on Wednesday. When the concert’s two encores ended, the large onstage screen displayed footage from the first season of the television anime series. Then the screen displayed an announcement that the second season has been green-lit.
The anime’s official website has also confirmed that production on the second season has been green-lit. The anime adapted kakifly’s four-panel comedy manga about a budding high school band.

I literally shitted bricks when I read this.

Japanese musician Hirasawa Susumu experienced what he described as a “nightmare” on Twitter after being mistaken for Hirasawa Yui, the main character from the anime series “K-ON!”. Since his name in Japanese text was similar to Yui’s name, many mistook him for the famous bi-shojo moe blob and his number of followers rapidly increased to 10,000 in only a day. A nightmare indeed.
The good source.
Weird that it only happened until recently. Not like, when K-ON was it’s highest popularity peak…
You can view Susumu-sensei’s Twitter here.

Well I’ll be.

Just when I thought the whole K-ON! fad was over, a new episode appears out of the blue. Only the difference is that its coming out next year.
All in favour the extra episode will be a flashback of Mio and Ritsu’s past when the two were friends in grade school, say aye.

Moé music anime K-ON!’s recent episode (episode 10) has surprisingly included a K-ON! cosplayer cosplaying the lead star Yui (despite the wrong guitar design) during the sponsors section just after the OP if you’ve watched the RAW or if the fansubs you watch has been cutted it out, but it’s quite surprising to have the producers to include a snapshot of it in just before broadcast.
