Spring 2011

Already days into March, and Spring is already around the corner. How time flies through the years ;__;

Anyhow, when comes a brand new season also comes a new batch of animu released into the wilderness, and that wilderness is the net. Pic above related, since it’s what I plan to watch. Note that it’ll probably be subject to change due to my bitter tastes or /a/, CR and Twitter herpaderp could influence me otherwise.

I looking forward to Denpa Onna.

Winter Anime 2010/11!

Fall has quickly concluded in a flash. I can clearly remember the early days of October and reminise the first episode of Oreimo and shriek over and the anime adaptation of TWGOK. Feels just like a couple of weeks ago.. Well, as you grow older time flies by faster. That’s life for ya. And so, the time has come. Winter Animu of 2010/11 is well on its way, so I’m just gonna take a breather and look at the forthcoming season’s fresh batch of animu. Probably for the first time I’ll only be watching a couple of shows (3/4 NOT 15/20) since RL is getting upon me.

Summer Anime 2010 First Impression

Post came out rather late and rushed than usual…meh. Summer Anime 2010 had a pretty good hybrid start for me, with Yakuindomo, Mitsudomoe, Ookami-san, Strike Witches and Highschool of the Dead turning out to be top favourites of this season. But anyway, here’s my overall First Impression of this hot summer season’s animu.

Note: No screenshots in this post due to botherness level in uploading them…

Summer Anime 2010

So I was trolling around in my Google Reader while playing some se.kirara (yet to reach the event in the above image)… stalking some sites most particularly burogus and certain ISSSs… and it came to my attention that Chartfag has thrown in a new Summer Anime 2010 preview. Rejoicing as I was, it’s only natural that I make a post all about it and take a measurement in my satisfactory and excitement level of each individual show. And since there’s 18 series in the roster at the moment, it makes this chore more easier for me.

End of Winter Anime 2009/10 Overall Review

With the Winter Anime season closing it’s shutters with the majority of its season anime coming to a close, it’s only natural for me to review of what I think for each and every individual series that had concluded. Which pretty much this post is all about. Figured that I might as well breifly review each series to save blogging time plus all in one neat and collected post. Note that this post is 65% complete at the first publish (meaning spelling and gramatical errors will be inevitable), and will be updated with more Winter Anime once they have concluded, such as Baka Test and Vampire Bund. But anyway enjoy~

Winter Anime 2009/10 REDUX!!

Released quite awhile ago by Chartfag, the 2nd version of the Winter 2009/10 lineup is out now! Now with more added series, OVAs and continuations (click on the image above to view in full).

Seems like the Winter Anime schedule seems to be limited this season, as there are only 18 TV Anime series on offer on the airwaves. With an additional of 8 OVA titles releasing throughout the season, another 6 continuations from earlier seasons and the continuing series from Spring, Summer and Fall this year (ie. Cross Game, FMA, Kimi ni Todoke, Fairy Tail and more), it’s more than likely the recession seems to have hit the Anime industry…sort of

Looking at my planned Winter Anime 2009/10 watchlist, nothing seems to have changed really.

  • Durarara!
  • Dance in the Vampire Bund
  • So Ra Wo No To
  • Hanamaru Kindergarten
  • Seikon no Quasar
  • Baka Test
  • Ookamikakushi
  • Omamoro Himari
  • Ladies VS Butlers
  • Chu-Bra!
  • Weiss Survive R

A few added there, recently finished watching Weiss Survive’s first season (16 episodes, with each only lasting 2 and a half minutes) so I thought I might as well watch the sequel.

Out of all I guess the ones I am mostly anticipated for is Baka Test and Dance in the Vampire Bund.

Baka Test: Loved the manga, and after watching the PVs, I thought to myself that this is gonna be epic.

Dance in the Vampire Bund: Liked the fact that it has loli vampires, totally beats the whole Twilight shit and it’s being done by Shaft. Hopefully this time the staff will make it on time on the deadline and not have the TV run shafted. Haven’t read the original manga yet due to my busy time schedule but I’ll make some time for it prior the TV anime run.

Winter Anime 2009/10

15 titles confirmed at the moment for Winter 2010!? Wow this is like… the first time I’ve seen the fewest Anime series batch confirmed to be airing in the same season. Well above here is the 1st version to Chartfag’s visual Winter 2010 preview (click on the image to see in full) so it’ll get updated in about a months time when I predict more anime titles will be confirmed and green lit for release. Overall for now, the titles look pretty decent to me.
