Reigning from her last appearance in a televised chewing gum advertisement, it seems this time Haruhi spouts on a attractive bright yellow cheer leading uniform, in means to promote some lemon juice drink by Pokka. Rivals-to-be with CC Lemon much?
I’ve had a few Pokka drinks before when I purchased a few cans at a Asian imports supermarket in the capital, and they actually tasted pretty great, especially the Cocoa Coffee one or on the lines.
Haruhi strikes again! However this time through some epic Lotte gum TV commercial.
Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: A television program has aired the Lotte Acuo gum commercial that features the cast of the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise and the actor Toma Ikuta (live-action Akihabara @ DEEP, Honey and Clover). As reported on Tuesday, the “Boutique” commercial has Ikuta chewing Acuo gum when he spies an item that is sold out at a boutique. When he blows his “nice breath” onto the boutique clerk, she transforms into Mikuru Asahina. The boutique manager comes over to scold Ikuta for “turning people into anime characters.” Ikuta says “Suimasen” (“I’m sorry”) with his fresh breath, and the manager turns into Haruhi. Confused, Ikuta runs out of the store and runs into alley cats … who all transform into Yuki Nagato.
The video will officially run as a television commercial starting on April 5 in Japan.
Only until yesterday, underlings of KyoAni and Kadokawa- Lantis has yet decided to release yet another trailer for the upcoming Haruhi Disappearance movie on YouTube. But only this time, just a 5 minute long slideshow of a selection of screenshots of the film with samples of the original soundtracks used in the movie (the smoothly calming piano tune is my favourite).
The planned feature-length film “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya” now has a promotional video released. Consisting of a selection of scenes cherry-picked from the movie while in production with some text in a black background with some mild piano music playing, déjà vu?

I was surprised. After reading many articles from the likes of Sankaku, the bloody wretched ANN (whom I now despise for giving SnI a f’ing low grade and thinking they’re all high and mighty) and many more google’d search I can safe to say the new movie adaption, not Endless Eight -relief-, will be an adaption of the “Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya” arc. Which many fans and lurkers expected to be in the long awaited second season, but, ultimately trolled with 80% of the new material being 8 recycled episodes.
Talking nekos, people in outdated costumes (above), fact or fiction, and cat food? Well all them are included in this episode. Not really surprised.

The fourth part (or the 13th episode in the 2nd season) of the *Sigh* of Haruhi arrives with a continuation of the Brigade gradually filming parts of the film Haruhi has planned for the Cultural Festival, which the final product being Episode 00: The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina, which I was left baffled since that was the first episode of Haruhi I’d came across and watched. And gotta day, more Yuki x Mikuru in this episode (as shown above).

The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya Arc continues on this week as the brigade begins filming! But unsurprisingly, not the movie they’re filming at first… And yes, Episode 0 (DVD Order) is the result of this Arc.
Well now, after 2 months of the never ending action of Endless Eight in Haruhi, we now advance on to the next stage, AFTER the endless Summer Vacation. Which was expected to be shown a LOT sooner as usual. That is, The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya. Where Sports Day and the Cultural Festival takes place. Also judging from the “The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya 1” episode title, this arc will lag on for a couple of episodes. Where they’ll shoot their movie to screen at the festival. NOT time-looping over and over again.
