Spring Anime 2013 First Impressions

To think we’re already a quarter way in to 2013. Even though the weather still reminds me of Winter, it’s actually several days into April. And everyone knows that when it comes to April; it’s Spring. And everyone knows that when it comes to a new season, a new flock of anime hits the Japanese broadcasting airwaves.

Anyhow this obligatory post will have me revealing my shitty tastes by giving my first biased impressions on each of them just by staring at a bunch of new anime shows on a chart made by @cowboybibimbop. Let the fun begin.

INDEXX!!!!!!!1

YES!!!! YES!!!!!! FUCK YESSS!!!!!!!! I KNEW IT!!!! I TOTALLY KNEW INDEX WOULD AT SOME POINT APPEAR IN RAILGUN!!!! YESS!!! YESSS!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!! -fanboy shriek-

Despite only appearing for a split second 20 seconds into the opening sequence, only by this much has truly made my day. Scratch that, my whole year, that is.

In other news relating to this matter… Arriving in 2 episodes late, a new opening and ending has finally bestowed upon the second half of Railgun (episode 15 and up). Sung by the same artists who did the previous songs for the opening and ending, “LEVEL 5 -judgelight-” by fripSide for the opening, and “Real Force” by ELISA for the ending. And I have to say, fripSide and ELISA does it yet again performing more top quality and awesome songs. Nice one girls!

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun 01

Six months has passed since the end of the first run of Index (Prior to Kurimu, my waifu =3) and also a year since Index has started airing. Well instead of a second season (which I highly demand) here’s a spin off anime series based of a spin off manga, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, ie. A Certain Scientific Railgun. Featuring that pesky tsundere-like Biribiri.
