ANN – Natsu no Arashi! Anime Gets 2nd Season Green-Lit (Updated)

Starchild’s official website for the Natsu no Arashi! anime series has announced that production on a second season has been green-lit. The second season will air on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations this fall. The final episode of the first season based on Jin Kobayashi‘s Natsu no Arashi! science-fiction romance manga aired on Sunday night. The end of the episode featured an illustration by Kobayashi that declared in English, “I’ll be back!” The anime series can be watched on ANN.

Holy schmitz, another spring anime I’m watching announced for another season. That puts a grand total of 5 11-13 episodes series green-lit for a 2nd season for me to watch. Should I be leaping for joy?

Asura Cryin’ 2 Second Season Confirmed

The final episode of the Asura Cryin’ television anime series has announced that production on an Asura Cryin’ 2 television series has been green-lit for a fall premier. The latest episode ran on the AT-X premium channel on Thursday morning.

The first Asura Cryin’ anime series adapted Gakuto Mikumo and Nao Watanuki‘s Asura Cryin’ light novel series of the same name. The semi-serious school action story revolves around Tomoharu Natsume, a boy who has been haunted by a ghosty girl who was a childhood friend.

Its as you heard, ero clothing abuse anime Queens Blade has been announced for a second season, straight after its final episode that aired today (or yesterday) on the air waves in Japan, just like the failed 2nd season announcement of Hayate announced straight after its 52nd and final 1st season episode. Just as I heard on ANN and Sankaku.

Melo Melo MELOOOOOONNN!!!

The so-called epic failed anime Akikan!‘s green-litted OVA, to be a original of a trip to the hot springs has begun streaming its 75 seconds promotional video for the 9th volume in the Light Novel series, to be out on 23rd October later this year. As I read the relevant article on ANN;

The official website for Riku Ranjō and Hiro Suzuhira‘s Akikan! romantic comedy light novels and anime has begun streaming a 75-second promotional video for the ninth novel volume, which will bundle an original video anime (OVA) episode, on Friday. The website had announced in March that production on the OVA had been green-lit. The new 25-minute anime episode, “Akikan!/Can Ippatsu!!? Onsen Panic,” takes the main cast to a hot spring. The television anime version ran in Japan from January 3 to March 28, and the pre-order limited edition of the ninth novel with the new anime episode will ship in October 23.

The story revolves around a typical high school boy named Kakeru Daichi and the can of melon juice soda that he bought from a vending machine. The can suddenly transforms into a beautiful but standoffish girl that Kakeru nicknames “Melon,” and more “Akikan!” (“empty can” or “A-Machine”) girls seem. However, Akikan! girls need to be infused with carbon dioxide from kissing to survive.

Shakugan no Shana 3rd Season Officially Confirmed!

After reading articles on the confirmation here, here, here and here, it is official that Shana will be returning either with a new season or a sudden remake of the second season this fall/autumn.

When I first read the headline for the ANN article when I opened my Google Reader account in the ANN folder, I was all FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK YEAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! But for each of the articles I’ve read, each of them gave different outcomes, ANN reporting that it’ll be a remake of Season 2, and Sankaku believing it’ll be a continuation of the second season, thus, making it a third season. But Dengeki Bunko’s (the magazine with the original source) information on the confirmation is still pretty shallow at the moment, so the possibility of either being it a second season remake or an entirely new third season is anyone’s guess, or maybe JC Staff had taken the road for Kadokawa and decides to fool everyone by just re-airing the second season but cunningly adding in the new season in between half way? =0 We’ll just have to see…

Since Shana is my 4th favourite anime character (4th against Hina, Mio and Index) and the anime series my second favourite (2nd to Hayate -1st Season-) this is definitely my must watch for the year, and also Zan Zetsubou Sensei  Hetalia Season 2 and Seitokai no Ichizon for this coming Summer. I can’t wait.

Now if only Comic Alive would announce the 4th Season of Zero no Tsukaima…

One year after the events of the original game, the world continues to embrace and explore the cube worlds that resulted from the opening of the planet’s core. One day King Jibral and Zola encounter a mysterious evil dragon shadow at one of the cubes. Zola has a bad feeling about it and after informing Shu and the party, they find themselves on another adventure to discover this new threat.

Hayate no Gotoku!! 2nd Season OVA Released~!!


At long last the highly anticipated Hayate no Gotoku anime is back! With a OVA (Original Animation Video) to accompany the longed for second season to be back on air on the 3rd April~!

Also with the pics above this post (screenshots throughout the OVA and a nice fanservice cap of Hina =D) You can see a indirect preview of the OVA if you’re going to watch it later~

Straight after release there seems to be numerous screenshots leaked all over the net, so I thought I’d contribute too =] Also whats different with this episode is that its produced by JC Staff, the people who did Zero no Tsukaima, Toradora, Index and the like, so the animation and the storyline are fairly different to the first season made by SynergySP.

Well anyhow, at the moment the episode is still in RAW mode, so people out there who knows fluent japanese will be able to watch it feely and directly, but for the rest of us, we’d have to wait for the subs to be made, all in favour for Static/Eclipse to sub say aye! AYE!!
